The Addington barstool is a backless, wire kitchen stool, that compliments our Devonport Dining Chair. Because it has no back, it will sit neatly under your kitchen counter top and won’t take up huge visual realestate.

Delivering on our “simple is best” ethos. The Addington’s sleek lines give it style, while the durable wire-frame makes them robust enough to please all users.  Two footrest heights means its comfortable for adults, if you turn it around, the higher footrest works well for children.  The wires are perfectly spaced for maximum comfort, without needing extra cushioning. As with all Ico Traders’ wire furniture, the Addington stool is incredibly versatile.  Suitable for the home & in commercial spaces with standard counter heights.

Australia’s climate is diverse and often harsh, especially in coastal areas with salty sea winds. Stainless steel offers the best defence against salty sea spray, ocean winds, humidity, and high rainfall. Its superior corrosion resistance makes it a stronger, more durable material, ideal for coastal or high-moisture areas. For these conditions, we recommend investing in stainless steel.

Each barstool is coated with a PVDF base layer before powder coating, ensuring durability and rust resistance. This makes it suitable for indoor use and outdoor areas.

Stock is available in Black, White and Putty.
