There is no doubt that the Australian climate is both diverse across the country and at times, harsh! Especially in coastal areas with salty sea winds. Unfortunately, steel and sticky salt air are not great friends. While Ico Traders do all they can to protect their designs from corrosion, sometimes it’s necessary to step it up and bring in the big guns.

Stainless steel is the best defence against sea spray, ocean winds, humidity and high rainfall areas. It is a much stronger and more durable base material, with increased corrosion resistance. If you do live near the ocean or where it rains a lot, we recommend you invest in stainless steel.

The Orere Sofa is the same height, depth and shape as the Coromandel chair, but just made it big enough to share.

While all our furniture is designed to be comfortable to sit on without extra cushioning, if you want to layer up, we’ve got you sorted. We stock a bespoke chair pad made especially to fit the contours of this sofa. (Made in Australia and sold separately).

Team an Orere Sofa and a couple of Coromandel Chairs with a stainless steel Rotoiti Table to create the perfect setting.

Measures: 1280mm long x 610mm deep x 350mm seat height, back height 800mm

201 stainless steel contains 16%-18% chromium, 3.5%-5.5% nickel and 5.5%-7.5% manganese (providing corrosion resistance).

Because of this and the size of the sofa, we have teamed up with a range of freight agents to deliver your order to you safely.  Freight costs are calculated for a central area, door-to-door delivery.  Please contact us for rural delivery and local depot pickups and we will provide you with a freight cost.
